Don’t be fooled by its compact size and low weight (which is a great advantage when installing it in boxes with little space), because the Arctic Freezer 7X is a high-performance heatsink capable of dissipating up to 120W TDP without problems (we tried it ourselves at the time with a Core i7-8700K and it showed us that it could handle it without problem).
This cooler comes with the excellent thermal paste Arctic MX-4 pre-applied so you don’t have to worry about anything, and since its installation is tremendously simple, even the most novice users will be able to install it on their system without setbacks and in a few minutes. Additionally, it is compatible with all modern processor sockets from both AMD and Intel, including the newer sockets AMD AM5 and Intel LGA1700so you can use it with practically any heatsink on the market.
It should also be noted, for those who love silence, that this heatsink is, like all Arctic products, very silent, and emits only 0.3 Sone (24.5 dBA) of noise at maximum speed.
