BenQ PD3205UA 4K, a monitor designed for professionals

The BenQ PD3205UA 4K is presented as a new monitor for professionals that not only offers 4K resolution, but also uses “liquid crystal” technology and has a support arm that facilitates its use both horizontally and vertically. It goes without saying that this versatility makes it an ideal solution for professionals in the world of design.

At the specification level we see that the BenQ PD3205UA 4K uses an IPS panel, which means that it is capable of offering viewing angles of 178 degrees, reaches a 99% coverage of sRGB and Rec.709 color spacesit has a screen size of 31.5 inches, a maximum brightness of 350cd per square meter in HDR mode and its contrast ratio is 1,000:1.

The response time of the BenQ PD3205UA 4K is not bad for a model aimed at the professional sector, since it is located in 5 milliseconds. It supports HDR10 and offers three color modes; “CAD/CAM Mode” which increases contrast and brings out details, “Design (Animation) Mode” which lightens dark areas of the image, and “Darkroom Mode” which shows details clearly even in low light.

Its function «DualView» also represents an added value, since it allows us to display two screens on a single monitor, and the integrated «KVM» function allows us to switch between a keyboard and mouse set in a simple and fast way. The BenQ PD3205UA 4K also comes with anti-flicker and blue light reduction technologies to protect the user’s view.

The refresh rate of the BenQ PD3205UA 4K is 60 Hz, it reproduces 1,070 million colors and it has HDMI 2.0 connectors, DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB Type-C that supplies up to 90 watts of power. We do not have details on the price, but we know that there is a version with a 27-inch panel that will obviously be cheaper.
