May has already started, but that doesn’t mean there’s still no time for weighty news for the next few days. Proof of this is that the Paramount+ has just released the premieres of films and series that arrive in the exclusive streaming catalog throughout the month.
Among the highlights of the period are: “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”, a series based on the years that Captain Christopher Pike occupied the helm of the USS Enterprise; and “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber”, a production that tells the story of one of the most successful – and controversial – companies in Silicon Valley.
For those who enjoy something lighter and fun, to check out with the family, Paramount+ bets are on new seasons of “Blue and You Clues” and “Blaze and the Monster Machines”, as well as new episodes of “The Smurfs” and “Big Nate”.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

The Star Trek universe continues to expand and now Paramount+ introduces a new original product, “Strange New Worlds”, which features Captain Pike, Officer Spock and Number One, exploring new worlds across the galaxy on the USS Enterprise.
Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber
- available from may 12
Based on Mike Isaac’s bestselling book, “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber,” tells the rise and fall of Uber founder Travis Kalanick (Gordon-Levitt). His mentor Bill Gurley (Chandler), the brilliant venture capitalist, bets on his excellent reputation and the success of Uber, but then has to deal with the consequences of it all. The good news is that the anthology series has already been renewed for a second season, which will focus on the trajectory of Mark Zuckerberg.
The Smurfs

The story follows Papa Smurf, Smurfette and the other inhabitants of the Village of the Smurfs in new adventures filled with humor, love and adventure, as well as following all the battles that the Smurfs fight with the terrible Gargamel.
Blue’s Clues and You

Blue is back with another series to entertain and teach kids. A remake of the “Blue’s Clues” series (1996-2006), featuring some of the old characters including Mailbox, Little Drawer, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Soap, return to help preschoolers solve puzzles.
Blaze and the Monster Machines
- Season 6 available from May 5th
Blaze is the most amazing truck in the world and his driver is none other than his best friend of 8 years, AJ. The two live great adventures and face all problems with lots of action and speed, transformations and stunts. The content addresses concepts of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, inviting children to participate in a dynamic and knowledge-filled universe.
