Samsung decides to reduce the power of the Note 10 Plus

However, the ANFR found that the “member” and “trunk” DAS of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Hisense Infinity H30 and Gigaset GS290 showed values exceeding the limits set by the EU. In fact and by virtue of article L43 II bis of the postal and electronic communications code, the French regulator has given formal notice to the above-mentioned manufacturers of “take all appropriate measures to put an end to the non-conformities noted on the equipment currently on the market as well as those already marketed”.

In fact, the three manufacturers have taken note of this injunction and have chosen to reduce the power of the affected smartphones via a software update. This procedure made it possible to reduce the value of the “member” and “trunk” DASs pointed out by the ANFR. The institution specifies that these DAS now comply with the legislation in force thanks to the patches made by the manufacturers. Note that this update will be downloaded automatically if your phone is connected to the Internet (via Wi-Fi or via the mobile network).
