Spotahome has appointed Eduardo Garbayo as COO (Chief Operating Officer). Linked to the startup since 2019, Garbayo has been general manager for Spain and Portugal and, later and recently, head of Business and Operations.
In this new stage, he will be in charge of leading the company’s strategy, optimizing its processes in order to maximize resources to guarantee Spotahome’s leadership position. in the proptech sector. Eduardo has studied Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and an MBA from IE Business School and the NYU Stern School Of Business.
His professional career has been linked in the field of strategic consulting, mainly in the company The Boston Consulting Group. His main responsibilities were focused on corporate strategy and the digital transformation of financial institutions, in the markets of Spain and the Middle East.
He has led the corporate strategy of the real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills (Abu Dhabi) in the Middle East, and the strategy of new digital businesses for BBVA.
