Galaxy S23: Samsung could present its next flagship in early February 2023

A new leak this time indicates that the international launch of the Galaxy S23 is scheduled for the first week of February. Samsung would therefore plan to advance the date of the Unpacked event somewhat by a few days, but by several months as previous information has suggested. We are still awaiting an official communication from the manufacturer on this subject.

Confusion still reigns around the true release of the Galaxy S23. A few weeks ago, we reported to you that a leak suggested that Samsung could present its new flagships on December 23, a fairly marked advance compared to its habits. Indeed, the Korean manufacturer usually unveils its new premium smartphones during the month of February each year.

A new leak appears to be making ends meet. The Korean media JoogAng Daily thus indicates that Samsung has already set the date for the next Unpacked event in February 2023, more precisely at the beginning of this one. The information comes from an internal source at the Korean firm who of course wished to remain anonymous. If Korean JoogAng Daily does not give precise dates, other Korean newspapers are counting on the first week of February.

Samsung would advance the presentation date of the Galaxy S23, but not by much

According to Korean JoogAng Daily, Samsung will hold the Unpacked event in San Francisco as usual. On the other hand, this next edition will not be trivial, since it should be the first public presentation since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The last time this happened was when the Galaxy S20s were released. The presentation of the Galaxy 22 having taken place on February 9, 2022, the rumor of a launch in the first week of February 2023 is plausible.

Until then, several pieces of information are still unresolved. Indeed, the question of the price still arises, while several rumors claim that Samsung will increase its prices to meet global inflation. In France, we should for the first time be entitled to models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, after years under the Exynos processor. Enough to raise the wait another notch.
