There is no doubt that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of the moment, and also one of the most demanding. According to new information, the well-known study has invested a budget of between 1,000 and 2,000 million dollars in the development of GTA 6, dizzying figures considering that it is a video game and that would place it at a much higher level than other well-known triple A games. It is important that you also take into account that, in the end, a significant part of that budget is usually allocated to marketing campaigns.
The latest rumors claim that GTA 6 will take us back to Vice City, one of the most iconic and beloved settings in the franchise, and that both the map and the campaign will be the best and biggest we’ve seen so far in the Rockstar series. Its release date remains a mystery, but some reliable sources place it at sometime in 2024.
It is also not yet clear if this game will be an exclusive for the current generation of consoles and PC, or if Rockstar will instead choose to release it. as an intergenerational transition title. In the first case, its technical finish could be higher and it would be better prepared to take advantage of the capabilities of more powerful hardware, but its availability would be limited to PS5, Xbox Series SX and PC. In the second case, it would also come to Xbox One and PS4, and would have lower requirements, but the technical leap would not be as impressive compared to GTA V.
