Intel ARC graphics will be outdated by a new delay

A new report from China shows that Intel’s problems are more serious than might be expected at first. Last week a sporadic tweet from the company left everything up in the air, today we woke up knowing that a new delay hits Intel, and it would already be the third, with its graphics ARC Alchemist for desktop, to such an extent that there is no new specific date, but only approximate when they will land on the market.

Intel has been very reluctant to share more data on the delays of its desktop graphics and it is partly normal, since the launch of the laptop series is still in suspense despite its official presentation, since there are no models of any manufacturer in stores. So when will these graphics cards be available to compete with NVIDIA and AMD?

Delays and more delays: Limited edition?

Well, the leak has been from the Bilibili forums, where the user already known as Enthusiastic Citizen has shown new information regarding this topic. Due to his successes in previous leaks we give him credibility when he says that the release of these new ARC Alchemist is postponed until the second quarter and possibly until the third quarter of this year.

This is very much in line with the speculation that we launched at the beginning of the month on this subject, only now it has much more strength and base, so we could see a launch even for September, which implies that AMD and NVIDIA already have in your lap the news RTX 40 and the RX 7000so these Intel ARC would reach the market outdated and could not really compete with the options of their rivals.

The problem is that according to the latest estimates, the performance would not be as good as expected, or at least that is what the latest rumors that we are going to see below affirm.

Intel ARC A770, A750, A580 and A380

It doesn’t look like these new graphics cards are going to keep up with NVIDIA or AMD. The SKUs mentioned above will be the four variants that the blue giant will have on the table, with the A770 being the fastest of all.

But how fast will this new graphics card be? Well, apparently the performance will be more or less similar to what the current RTX 3060 Ti is, which is not too much to be the best of the blue team, but in return it gives us 16GB of GDDR6.

As for the rest of the range, the A750 looks set to have 448 Xe unitsthe A580 will have 8GB from GDDR6 and finally the A380 would be the slowest of all with quite disappointing performance being the entry range, as we might think that it would be competing against the RTX 3050, but it seems that everything is more focused on the RX 6400 than the first.

Therefore, the reasons for the delay once again (the third in question) are not clear, it is always speculated that Intel needs time to squeeze its GPUs through its drivers, these are always in question for reasons that we do not know, so that there is no choice but to wait once more to find out what is true in all this.
