Apple just released its Sales numbers the second quarter of this year. Of course, for any mortal, they are dizzying figures, but for a company shareholder, they are not as good as one might expect.

This second quarter they have invoiced almost hundred billion dollars. A priori an outrage, but it turns out that it has been 3 percent less than last year. And the numbers have been saved thanks to iPhones, because sales of Macs have been below forecasts. Let’s look at the figures in more detail.

This week those of Cupertino have already taken stock of the sales of the second quarter of this year, and have just published the results. They have billed a whopping 94.8 billion of dollars. Three percent less than the same quarter last year.

With this invoicing, the benefits for each action are located at $1.52. In total, the net profit for this second quarter is just over 52 billion dollars. Profits achieved to a large extent from the sale of iPhones, since the turnover of Macs, for example, did not meet targets.

We are going to see the company’s billing by product families in this second quarter of the year. Apple estimated sales of iPhones of 48.84 billion dollars, and in the end they were 51.33 billion. At the moment good.

As for the Macsthey had planned to sell 7.80 billion, and they have punctured, staying in 7.17 billion of dollars. With the ipads, the same has happened. Of an estimate of 6.69 billion have stayed in 6.67 billion. A priori you may think that there are only two tenths of a difference, but in reality it is two billion dollars, in three months, which is no small feat.

On the other hand, wearables, home and accessories are going like a shot. With an estimate of 8.43 billion dollars, they have come to invoice 8.76 billion. Bravo for the apple watch and AirPodsamong others.

Finally, the services they have also punctured. They wanted to invoice 20.97 billion and in the end they have been 20.91 billion of dollars.

Perhaps the company’s forecasts have not adjusted to the reality of the world economy. The still lack of stock of some devices due to the chip manufacturing crisis has also had an influence. We’ll see what happens in the third quarter, with the launch next month of the 15-inch MacBook Air.
