Mallorca increases, in summer, visits to the IWG center by 95%

The summer that is giving its last breath, began a season more similar to what it used to be before the pandemic, with fewer restrictions and with a large part of the population already vaccinated. In this scenario, the hybrid work consolidates itself once again as the main ally of workers and companies, which can enjoy the flexibility of this model to carry out their work how they want and from where they want. Thus, according to data from the IWG coworking, visits to the group’s center in Palma de Mallorca have increased by 95%, only in the month of June, compared to May.

With the recent heat waves that have affected various regions of Europe, the Spanish coast has maintained a certain stability with typical temperatures of these months, and with the attraction of the sea. In Palma de Mallorca, IWG has a coworking center, under one of its emblematic brands, Reguslocated in Carrer Gremi de Sabaters, 21, in the Polígono Industrial son Castelló.

Nationwide, flexible workspaces have continued to experience a boom in visits. In fact, according to figures from the International Workplace Group (IWG), visits to centers in Spain, more than 57 centers, have increased by 50%, from the beginning of the year to the end of June. Each group’s coworking seeks to respond directly to the needs of hybrid workers, those who divide their working day with days at home, in the office and in shared centers.

In the coming months, IWG, the parent company of brands like Regus, Spaces, HQ, looks forward to welcoming its most exclusive firm, Signature, which will be in the heart of Barrio Salamanca, in Madrid. In addition, it hopes in the future to continue reaching more and more provincial capitals, to bring this hybrid model to professionals throughout the country.
