Once we have the Apple event for the month of September already concluded and seeing that the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros are yet to arrive, we have good news for those who are waiting to buy one of these computers. According to the popular MacRumors medium, Samsung Display announced a few hours ago that it was starting with the mass production of 14-inch and 16-inch OLED displays for use in computers.

Logically this suggests that in addition to the usual firms that supply themselves with these screens manufactured by Samsung, Apple will keep a few for its new MacBook Pro. In any case mass production of these displays is not a confirmation of anything, since until the official presentation we have to walk with leaden feet.

It is true that several important media such as The Elec or even DigiTimes have been warning for a long time that Samsung Display was preparing its screen production lines for future MacBooks with OLED screens, but They do not coincide on the dates since some say before the end of this year and others for 2022.

On the other hand there are rumors that in Cupertino they will not wait to have enough OLED screens of this size and they are already assembling new MacBook Pro with LCD screens with mini-LED for this year. There are several open fronts and we will see in the end what happens with them, for now we have to keep an eye on the rumors. Hopefully soon we can get out of doubts in an event before the end of the year.
