The tasks will take as a starting point for several cases the tools and services that both already have in place. In the case of the Ribera Group, its modular medical history platform, Cynara. It is deployed on Microsoft Azure cloud services and serves both to improve clinical and administrative activity.
From this, the Ribera Group and Microsoft will work to transform the collection processes. information in all phases of the assistance processes. This will be done through non-invasive collection systems, and is intended to increase the efficiency, humanity and accuracy of medical data management.
A fundamental point of the agreement involves the application of generative AI to simplify administrative tasks in the health sector. By doing so, the Healthcare professionals will be less tired and spend less time on tasks that can be automated, so they can focus on patient care.
Ribera participates in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program, which indicates that it is already laying the foundations for using Generative AI in several of its procedures. Copilot integrates into the Microsoft productivity applications used by Ribera Group professionals, allowing them to get rid of repetitive tasks and streamline their workflow.
With Copilot as a base, Microsoft and the Ribera Group are defining and specifying the functional and process groups where Copilot can help optimize work processes. Both in administrative tasks and in others that may be assumed by the different work groups or teams dedicated to certain clinical specialties.
The agreement also incorporates the collaboration of the Ribera Group’s technology company, Futurs, which becomes a Microsoft partner. The purpose of this company is to facilitate a comprehensive and optimal response to the needs of the population, through the transformation of healthcare with technology and innovation.
