MINISFORUM expands its catalog of mini PCs with Raptor Lake

The MINISFORUM firm has expanded its catalog of mini PCs with Raptor Lake, and it has done so by betting on reinforce the series of more economical modelsa movement that certainly seems to us to be a success, since these offer a more interesting value in relation to price-performance.

The MINISFORUM Venus NPB5 series is just one step below the NPB7, although at first glance they appear identical. The first uses a Intel Core i5 Gen13 processorwhile the second mounts, as you may have imagined, an Intel Core i7 Gen13 CPU.

This new mini PC has a very compact, discreet and elegant. Its minimalist nuances are more than evident, and its silver finish gives it a very nice touch and at the same time allows it to look good on any desk.

At the hardware level, this model is one of the most balanced mini PCs with Raptor Lake that we can find, since it comes with a Intel Core i5-13500Ha chip that has four high-performance cores, eight high-efficiency cores, and can handle 16 threads.

We can configure it with up to 32 GB of RAM memory and a 1 TB SSD storage unit, although it supports without problems a maximum of 64 GB of RAM. The MINISFORUM Venus NPB5 features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and has two 2.5 GbE Ethernet connectors, two HDMI outputs, two USB 4 connectors, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C connector, four USB 3.2 Type-A connectors, and a 3.5mm jack for audio input and output.

The base version, which does not include RAM or storage, has a pre-purchase price of 439 euros. If we want to buy it with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, we will have to pay 549 euros, and if we opt for the configuration with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, the price will be 639 euro.
