Some time ago, the Pixel Watch, the much anticipated connected watch from Google, started to be talked about again. According to leaks, the American brand would finally launch the smartwatch sometime next year, probably in the spring of 2022. Shortly after, an informant published a first stolen photo of the Pixel Watch, confirming the design with the rounded screen and a wheel reminiscent of Apple Watch.

More recently, our colleagues at 9to5Google unearthed an overview of the interface of the connected watch in Wear OS 3 emulator. Google has indeed launched an emulator for the result of the merger between Wear OS and Tizen OS during its last summer conference, Google I / O. The simulator has been regularly updated to incorporate new features and options.

While searching through the emulator, the media found a video hidden in the files. This short sequence, supposed to stay away from prying eyes, seems to reveal the design of the future dials of the Pixel Watch. As pointed out Jon Prosser, famous middle leaker, on Twitter, these dials coincide with the dials visible on the renderings he published a few months ago.

In the video, we see several sleek and elegantly understated dials. Google offers simple displays with shades of pink and green in particular. The firm is clearly inspired by Material You, a new visual language inaugurated with Android 12. We can see a shoe icon which probably evokes the number of steps taken by the wearer. This icon is identical to the one used on Fibit bracelets, a company acquired in 2019 by Google for more than $ 2 billion.

Unsurprisingly, we find numerous complications allowing rapid access to applications, like the weather, calendar, calories burned or heartbeat, or to view information quickly. We also see a Fitbit logo, which suggests that the Fitbit application will be integrated into the operating system.
