For the past few months, the good deals site Dealabs has been systematically cutting the rug out from under Sony by revealing in advance the supposed list of games offered to PS Plus subscribers. So far, the site has got it right every time. In August 2022, Dealabs announced the arrival of Yakuza Like A Dragon or Little Nightmares for PS Plus subscribers.
A selection confirmed by Sony a few days later. Note that these are the games offered to PS Plus Essential subscribers (Extra and Premium players can also recover them of course), the basic formula of the new PS Plus launched by Sony in June 2022. So, what are the expected games? in September according to Dealabs?
The list of PS+ games offered in September 2022
Before going into detail, it must be recognized that the supposed back-to-school batch does not necessarily make people dream, whereas Sony had focused on offering big titles during the summer of 2022. First, players will be able to get their hands on Need for Speed Heatopus of the famous license released in 2019 on PS4.
In the opinion of fans of the saga and the specialized press, this is not really the best installment in the motor racing series, but the title nevertheless offers an attractive principle: during the day, the drivers take part in a major competition, while at night they engage in illegal rodeos while trying to evade the police force of the city of Palm City.
We then find a small independent nugget called TOEM. This entirely hand-drawn adventure game puts you in the shoes of a photographer. Your goal? Help the inhabitants of this extraordinary universe by taking pictures. Only available on PS5.
We end with Granblue Fantasy Versus, a versus Fighting game derived from a series of JRPGs. In fact, in addition to the 1 VS 1 fights it offers, the title also includes an RPG Story mode which brings a welcome narrative dimension. Fans of the genre will appreciate the perfectly oiled gameplay mechanics of this game. Of course, this list should be taken with a grain of salt pending official confirmation from Sony.
