Samsung brings its self-repair program for Galaxy devices to Spain

With this program, users of various models of Galaxy devices who so desire will be able to access the tools they need to repair their equipment. Including repair kits and original Samsung parts, which means that they can increase the useful life of their equipment. For now, the program supports repairs for the Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 series of products, as well as computers. Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 laptops.

To expand its self-repair program to Europe, Samsung has reached a collaboration agreement with the main parts distributors in the region. Among them are ASWO and 2Service. The first is the electronics and after-sales service specialist for Europe, based in Germany. The second is a Netherlands-based supplier of electronic parts.

Thanks to the program, users in European countries served by Samsung’s Galaxy Device Self-Repair service will be able to change different pieces of equipment themselves. In the case of Galaxy S20, S21 and S22 smartphonesthey will be able to change their screen, their rear glass and their charging ports.

For their part, users of equipment from the Galaxy Book Pro range will be able to exchange seven original parts. They are the front and back of the case, the screen, the battery, the touch panel, the power key with a fingerprint reader and the rubber feet of the equipment. In all cases, Galaxy device users will be able to keep the repair tools and use them again whenever they need them.

Samsung has committed to expanding its self-repair program in the near future to include not only more devices, but also more repair tools and manuals. It is also looking to expand it to other markets.
