Soltec launches the Aurora accelerator to create innovative projects against climate change

The fight against climate change it is also present in innovation. Thus, the company specialized in photovoltaic solar tracking technology, Soltec, has just launched its new project. It’s about the accelerator Dawn, that was born with the objective of developing innovative projects in the field, through renewable energy.

This new commitment by Soltec was born with the objective of creating an ecosystem of companies at a global level whose technology is focused on promoting the renewable energy plants of the future in fields such as green hydrogen, energy storage, smart grids or new structural materials for power plants and their recycling, among other projects. All this through tools such as blockchain, cybersecurity, big data, machine learning, IoT or digital manufacturing.

Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec Power Holdings, explained: “Innovation is part of Soltec’s DNA, and for this reason, through Aurora we want to help those companies with great potential to develop and grow. With the launch of this new accelerator, we are looking for projects with a global approach, aligned with the cleanteach sector and that are committed to society and the environment. At Aurora we welcome projects led by entrepreneurs who seek to implement change through renewable energies and who have developed a technology applicable to real power plants around the world.”.

Sponsorship and funding

Aurora will offer the projects that are part of this initiative the sponsorship and financing necessary to boost their business; as well as with the support of Soltec, which will provide all its infrastructure and resources as a commercial and technological facilitator, in addition to offering training and corporate mentoring.
