Startup OLÉ will return to Salamanca on September 5, 6 and 7

Like every year, next September a new edition of the Startup OLÉ event will be held, specifically on the 5th, 6th and 7th of that month. In this edition, the summit will include the participation of the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Maria Gabriel.

The main novelties this year will be the great participation of companies and institutions from Castilla y León through the CYL-HUB project, as well as the celebration of a forum with startup towns, StartupVillagewithin the framework of REInA (Rural European Innovation Area).

Salamanca will once again be the great world capital of technological entrepreneurship and innovation, as of today the participation of more than 160 speakers and it is expected that the number of startups exceeds 300. In this way, the great world summit of entrepreneurship will host the national and international entrepreneurial ecosystemwith the support of public institutions, corporations, investors, startups, freelancers, SMEs, universities, science parks, business schools and accelerators, with networking being one of the main attractions of the event.

The work sessions will take place over three days in the Hospedería Fonseca, the Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca and the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Castilla y León. The program is practically outlined and the activities will include round tables, pitch competitions, startup fairs, business rounds between startups, SMEs, freelancers with corporations and investors (matchmaking) and networking activities.

Startup OLÉ 2022, as in previous editions, will have a networking platform, that will allow attendees to connect and schedule meetings, promoting networking, allowing each of those registered to connect based on their interests, verticals and technologies.

With regard to the guests, in addition to the European curator, leaders from Oracle, ACCIONA, Incibe, CDTI, Iberdrola, Sek Lab Accelerator, Hispasat and Enagás will also attend. The president of the ICO, José Carlos García de Quevedo, and the unicorn and co-founder of Blabacar, vincent rossowill also intervene in the event.
