The hairdressing and aesthetics sector joins ATA to fight for their claims

The National Association of Entrepreneurs of Hairdressing, Aesthetics and Personal Image ANEPE-IMPE has signed the integration into the National Federation of Associations of Self-Employed Workers (ATA). With this agreement, more than 2,000 businessmen from the hairdressing and beauty sector They become part of the self-employed association.

Said agreement aims to improve the conditions and rights that as self-employed in the special regime of workers, CHALLENGEhairdressing and aesthetics businessmen have, and try to help in all aspects that hinder the day-to-day life of a sector that is currently having a really bad time.

Thus, and at a time of economic uncertainty like the current one, with a drop in consumption that will worsen in the coming months, with an exponential increase in expenses due to the increase in the cost of energy, it is essential to modify the VAT applied to the sector and lower it to 10%.

Both organizations will jointly develop activities that contribute to defending the rights of ANEPE-IMPE professionals. “Collaboration between organizations will be essential to achieve measures in favor of the interests of the sector”, says Diego Sanz Ejarque, president of ANEPE-IMPE. “It is a union project that will generate stability for the face for the personal image sector to be represented in ATA, organization that in turn forms part of CEOE. We are going to focus our efforts on dignifying the professions of hairdressing, aesthetics and barbering for the more than 240,000 workers in the sector at the state level”.

For his part, the general secretary of ATA, José Luis Perea stated: “It is a very important agreement because at ATA we are fully committed to defending the problems of hairdressing and beauty professionals. The obstacles and problems those they have to face on a daily basis have not always been taken into account and for this reason we signed this agreement, because unity is essential to be stronger in a market where it is increasingly difficult to stay afloat”.

From ATA we are also committed to managing the help of the Digital Kit completely free of charge and, without a doubt, we are committed to giving greater visibility and helping to transfer their claims to the Public Administrations, since we are a natural interlocutor of the Government ”concludes the general secretary of ATA.
