The National Federation of Real Estate Associations (FAI) joins ATA

The National Federation of Real Estate Associations (FAI) has signed an agreement with the National Federation of Associations of Self-Employed Workers (ATA), to join forces in defense of the self-employed in this professional group. According to last day data, Spain registered 53,968 self-employed dedicated to real estate activities at the end of 2022, and represent 2,193 more professionals than in 2021.

“Real estate professionals suffered a lot during 2020 by not being able to carry out their work normally, but they have also taken advantage of the opportunity that the pandemic has given us and the revolution that meant wanting to improve comfort in our homes. Growing in a single year by 4.2% means that there are entrepreneurial opportunities, but also that we must take care of the quality of this business drive and advise new real estate agents”affirmed Lorenzo Amor, president of ATA at the signing of the agreement.

Real estate professionals need advice of course that gives them certainty in their day to day. Many times the information about their rights and obligations is confusing and from ATA we want to advise these professionals so that they can carry out their profession without problems.

It is a very important agreement because from ATA we highly value that the venture is conscious and accurate, that it is carried out with good advice and that it is undertaken with the best guarantees of success.”, has assured Lorenzo Amor, president of ATA after the signing. “From ATA we are going to collaborate, within the respective areas of their competences and objectives, for the professionals of this extensive group that includes almost 54,000 self-employed workers”.

FAI represents about 900 brands/agencies and about 4,000 real estate agentsand with this agreement they join the more than 550,000 freelancers that make up ATA.
