When Xiaomi launched its first television in our country in 2019, it seemed to many of us to be a risky bet, since it gave the impression that they were entering a fairly saturated market. A few years have passed, and the Chinese brand is now clearer than ever that they were not wrong. The new range of Xiaomi F2 TVs has just arrived in our country, and it does so with the intention of competing with other alternatives mid-rangeonly at a much more interesting price and with a launching offer that it will be difficult not to resist.

These are the main features of the new televisions.

The new Xiaomi televisions arrive with a almost frameless design and with a very good presence. It can be purchased in three different diagonals: 43, 50 and 55 inches. All three versions of this television have a 4K panel, support for Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 +. According to the brand, the TV is capable of covering 90% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. In this case, we are not dealing with a 10-bit panel as in high-end products, but rather an 8-bit panel with FRC.
On the audio side, these TVs feature a couple of 12 watt speakers. In this case, they are compatible with both DTS HD and DTS Virtual X, but unfortunately, there is no support for Dolby Atmos.

At the hardware level, these new televisions will have a MediaTek MT9020 processor from quad core 1.5GHzwith a total of 2GB RAM and others 16 storage internal.
Regarding connectivity, the new Xiaomi F2 Smart Fire TV line has Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, optical output, RJ45 Ethernet port and four HDMI 2.0. In this case, it is not compatible with the 2.1 standard, although it does not need it, since its panel is 60 Hz.
Xiaomi partners with Amazon
Beyond the design of these new televisions or the quality of their panels, what is really interesting is that Xiaomi has reached a deal with amazon. Instead of using Android TV with its PatchWall customization, these TVs now will work with Fire OS 7, the operating system of the Amazon Fire TV Stick. In essence, Fire OS is just another customization of Android TV, but integration into the TV will guarantee us a better user experience and a seamless integration with Alexa.
