OnePlus, the technology brand of Chinese origin known mainly for its smartphones, has officially presented the OnePlus 11 for the global market with its first tablet and other devices.
The OnePlus 11 was already officially presented in China on January 4, so what was announced at today’s event was the global launch of the smartphone. Thanks to the fact that it was already presented, we have at our disposal all its features, which begin with an LTPO3 screen 6.7-inch AMOLED which works at a native resolution of 1,440 × 3,216 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. As additional features it has HDR10 +, maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, Dolby Vision and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Delving into the internal components, we find a SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 equipped with Adreno 740 graphics. At the memory level the available configurations are 8GB of RAM together with 128GB of data storage (which includes the operating system) and 16GB of RAM together with 256GB of storage, with all configurations supporting the specification ufs 4.
The rear camera has become a very important component of smartphones. Here the OnePlus 11 has a triple configuration with a 50MP main with f/1.8 aperture and support for optical image stabilization (OIS), a 32MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and one last 48MP wide angle, aperture of f / 2.2 and angle of 115 degrees. For its part, the selfie camera is 16MP, f/2.4 aperture and supports auto-HDR.
As connections, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 and Bluetooth 5.3, but it is important to take into account that the smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack connector, so it does not support headphones “traditional”. The 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 100 watts, the dimensions of the device are 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.5 mm and its weight is approximately 205 grams. The operating system is Android 13 served under the OxygenOS 13 customization layer and the reference base price of 849 euroswith open sales starting on February 16.
We take this opportunity to remember that, in order to stand up to Samsung, the OnePlus 11 will have five years of security support, with four major operating system updates. This is a point in favor in a market full of devices that have little support from their manufacturers.
The smartphone has not come alone, but accompanied by the brand’s first tablet, the OnePlusPad. This device equips a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 12GB of RAM and 5G connectivity. According to the responsible company, it is the first tablet to be equipped with a screen with an aspect ratio of 7:5. Its size is 11.26 inches, it has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a native resolution of 2,800×2,000 pixels. As a peripheral, it supports the OnePlus Stylo digital pen and OnePlus magnetic keyboard. Reservations will open in April 2023.
The OnePlus Pad has support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Among its features, it can be noted that, as the brand has announced, it has a range of up to a month on standby with a 9,510mAh battery, which supports fast charging at 67 watts.
The new wireless headphones were also presented OnePlus Bud Pro 2, which basically have the same design as the first generation and use Bluetooth LHDC 4.0 Ultra-HD as the engine and a component called the OnePlus Melody Boost dual driver system that has been created together with Dynaudio to ensure crystal clear vocals. The brand of Chinese origin has announced up to 39 hours of autonomy and 10 hours of autonomy with just 10 minutes of charging. The price will be 179 euros and open sales will start on February 16.
The devices have been accompanied by the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, which has been designed in collaboration with the community of enthusiasts that the brand has. Among its features stands out its particular design and the possibility of relocating or placing keys, which in itself is not very innovative in the industry.
