The startup Celebebreak raises 1.1 million in financing round

the startup, celebreak, has closed a round of 1.1 million euros. Your product is an app to organize and manage friendly football matches without the need to know someone to play with and without the commitment that being part of a team requires. Sportech reaffirms the company’s commitment to making the world’s most popular sport accessible to everyone, everywhere and at any time.

Since its inception, CeleBreak has demonstrated its ability to inspire soccer fans by cultivating a community of over 6,000 monthly active paying players, who participate in more than 1,000 matches every month. The company, which in the last 12 months has billed almost 1 million euros, also helps soccer field owners to make their facilities profitable and, among other services, organizes matches for company workers.

This latest investment has attracted investors such as Tom Horsey (Eoniq Fund), Andreas Mihalovits, René de Jong, Stefan Lauer (former executive member of Lufthansa) and Steve Ciesinksi (Stanford professor and former president of the company that invented the Siri technology), among others, and will be used strategically to maximize business growth. CeleBreak aims to take advantage of this financial boost to expand its business, opening new services, improving its technology product, and improving the scalability of operations.

«Our goal is to become the reference platform in Spain to play soccer and create a great community that unites other small communities through this sport. We want to make football accessible to everyone by offering a variety of friendly matches designed to suit all levels of play, training sessions, leagues and tournaments.said Daniel Foth, co-founder and CEO of Celebrebreak.
