As we can see the trailer for The Walking Dead 11 provides us with the first interesting insights that will characterize the first tranche of 8 episodes of this final season (the second and third batch of episodes will arrive in 2022).
The story will pick up on how the previous season ended, focusing on the fiery relationship between Negan and Maggie and also showing us the Reapers, the new group of antagonists against whom the community of survivors will have to defend itself. Like the Whisperers, these individuals are also masked, only they don’t cover their faces with zombie skin masks, but use masks like those seen in the horror saga The Purge.
There is also room for the Commonwealth and its military leader Mercer, where Eugene and the others in his group were heading for the season 10 finale.
