Return YouTube Dislike
A little over a year ago, YouTube decided remove counter from dislike button of the videos. The number offered by this button quickly allowed us to get an idea of if the video was in line with the headline, or if it was just a catchy headline to attract visits. This is the use that most of us gave it, however, according to YouTube, that was not its function, but rather it was intended to allow its creator to know if the video had been successful.
Leaving Google’s interpretations aside (quite controversial, by the way), the solution to this problem goes through re-implement counter displayed on the Dislike button, using the Return YouTube Dislike extension. If the creator of the video has deactivated this button when uploading the video, we will not be able to know the number of Dislikes, since it is not available to interact with it, so the extension cannot show a data that does not register on YouTube.
