Tiny10, and its successor, Tiny11, are modified versions of the operating system to which its creators have removed all the heavy and unnecessary parts of the system to reduce the size they occupy, disable all kinds of unnecessary processes, and thus make the system work. smoothly on all types of computers, especially those that have a slow processor, or little RAM.
In this way, this system occupies only a little more than 5 GB of space on the hard disk, and can work, in its 32-bit version, with only 1 GB of RAM. If we want to install the 64-bit version, they recommend 2 GB of RAM, but even so, it is much less than what we need for Windows 10 from the factory.
This system eliminates all the applications that come standard in Windows, such as the image viewer, multimedia player, browser, etc., and leaves only the essentials: a notepad and WordPad. We also do not have the Microsoft Store or other Microsoft services, in the purest style of the systems of before. What it does include, in its latest versions, is Windows Defender, as an essential and basic antivirus to protect us.
