Wallix launches an industrial cybersecurity solution: OT.security

The European cybersecurity solutions developer Wallix has announced the launch of a cybersecurity solution for industry: OT.security. It is a platform based on the experience of its customers and partners, with its own visual identity and a development strategy based on the company’s Unicorn 25 plan. This plan, which establishes Wallix’s four-year development plan, sets the goal of achieving a turnover of 100 million euros and a 15% operating margin in 2025.

Wallix has chosen the industry as the target vertical for this cybersecurity solution due to its size, since it is a market of 15,500 million dollars that has growth expectations of 15.8% until 2027. Also because the digital transformation of the industry is exposing their companies to various types of cyberattacks: to industrial IoT equipment, cloud services, etc. In addition, its uses do not stop multiplying (Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence…), so so do the entry points so hackers can carry out attacks, and therefore must be protected.

OT.security, the solution designed so that the world of industry can protect its cybersecurity, is made up of Wallix PAM4OT and Wallix Inside. The first solution is a package for industrial organizations, which in turn is supported by Wallix PAM4ALL. This is a company solution that protects all access, both human and machine, according to the principle of least privilege. PAM4ALL is configured for industrial environments and can be adapted to many situations.

As for Wallix Inside, it is a solution aimed above all at the main players in the industrial sector, such as Schneider Electric, who agree with the company that digital tools must be protected from the outset. With Wallix Inside, which is integrated by design into the solutions of industrial engineering specialists, access and digital identities are protected to ensure a safe transition to industry 4.0.

With OT-security, Wallix will be able to accelerate its presence in the industrial sector by increasing the skills of its partners in cybersecurity. Especially through the PAM4OT formations. In addition, Wallix will continue to expand its strategic alliances in IoT.

On the other hand, Wallix has opened a specific website for the cybersecurity solution you just submitted. It houses a platform on industrial cybersecurity, with Wallix’s technological responses to the use cases and challenges of the affected areas.
