Apple includes several native options to find Apple devices. Therefore, in the event that you cannot find your AirPods, you can quickly go to the search application. Then you have to follow the following steps:
- Open the said application “Look for” on your Apple device or go to iCloud.com from a web browser.
- Select the tab “Devices” and select the AirPods.
- On the map, you will be shown the ulocation of your AirPods. If they don’t show up, that means they’re out of range or the battery is dead.
Remember that if the AirPods are not within reach or the battery is depleted, the “Find Myself” app will show you the last recorded location. This can give you an idea of where it could be, but without being sure of it.

Using the same technology as AirTag, AirPods also include a sound (identical) so you can determine its location. To do this, you have to perform the following four steps:

- Choose your AirPods.

Of course, it is important to take into account that this option is only available for the third generation AirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. The procedure is the next:
- Open the said application “Look for” on your Apple device or go to iCloud.com from a web browser.
- Select the tabto “Devices” and select the AirPods.
- Scroll down until you click on the option that says “Mark as lost”
- Immediately afterwards, they appear to you three options:
- Location notifications: You will receive a notification when location is available.
- Search app block: these AirPods are tied to your Apple ID, so no one else can use them with the Find My app.
- Leave your message: Leave your phone number or an email address so whoever finds your AirPods can contact you.
