Xbox says “and so do I” 12 times to PlayStation

Xbox games featured at PlayStation Showcase

He Playstation Showcase I leave us with a good list of upcoming releases that will be released soon. Among some of the bombings we could see the Metal Gear Solid remake, marathon, alan wake 2 or the next installment of Assassin’s Creedbut far from being ads that PlayStation users would enjoy exclusively, Xbox later wanted to make it clear that they were also part of the party.

Also available on Xbox

It may have taken only about 30 minutes from the end of the PlayStation Showcase for the official Xbox account to post the following tweet. The post showed the names of 12 games that had been shown at the Sony presentation and that Xbox confirmed that would also be available on your platform. It was a fast and agile move that showed that practically the majority of games are available on all platforms, although as we will see later, exclusives will always exist.

The games that will share consoles are the following:

  • Immortals of Avenum
  • ghostrunner 2
  • marathon: Bungie announced its next great shooter, and it is none other than Marathon, based on the legendary 1994 game.
  • Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater: The Konami remake will not be missing on Xbox. What might seem like an exclusive is actually a cross-platform one that will also be available on PC.
  • Dragon’s Dogma II
  • alan wake 2: It would be quite strange if one of the great games that released on Xbox 360 was missing from Xbox Series with its sequel. It will not be the case.
  • The Plucky Squire
  • tear down
  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Impossible that the new installment of Ubisoft will skip Xbox. There will be Assassins for a while.
  • neva
  • Cat Quest Pirates of the Purrybean
  • The Talos II Principle

But PlayStation does not forget the exclusives

Obviously, the exclusives were not going to be missing at the PlayStation presentation, and we have the clear example in the next great work by Imsoniac Games. We obviously talk about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will be released in the fall of 2023 and which, with an incredible scene, introduces us to the way in which we can change Spider-Man (remember that we will have Miles Morales and Peter Parker simultaneously) and where we will also meet the new villain Kraven. And no, it will not be cooperative.

Regarding virtual reality, Sony continues to show muscle for its PS VR2, and nothing better than a new installment of Resident Evil to continue taking advantage of virtual reality. It is actually an update for resident evil 4 that will introduce the virtual reality mode in the first person to live a terrifying experience.

Another big surprise was Phantom Blade Zeroa hack and slash RPG with touches that are inevitably reminiscent of Sekiro due to its samurai aesthetics and its setting, which has left a very good taste in the mouth and about which not much more has been known so far, although its trailer has shown much more than what we could expect from an undated game.
