Artificial Intelligence is among us and, no matter how much we want it, it will not stop being that way in the future, or at least nothing seems to indicate the opposite, so the more we get out of it, the better. Thanks to AI we can create texts, modify images, create them from scratch, generate voices and much more. If we want to create images based on a description, one of the best known is DALL-E from OpenAI, the same company behind ChatGPT.
However, despite being one of the most complete, it is not the best of all and it is likely that we will not always obtain the result we are looking for. Fortunately, the number of available options is very wide and varied, so if this does not meet our needs we can use one of the alternatives that we show you below.
- midjourney. MidJourney is, by its own merits, the best AI to generate images based on a description, an AI that understands natural language and that offers truly amazing results with great detail. Unlike others, it is used through a Discord chat and we can create modifications based on the 4 images that are generated from a description. This platform does not offer any free trial method, so if we want to use it, we have to checkout.
- stable diffusion. It is one of the most used free options to generate images, a platform that we can use online or directly from our computer by previously downloading the application from its website. It allows us to add an image to work on, it doesn’t offer images as realistic as Midjourney but it is an excellent open source option as an alternative to DALL-E.
- lexicate. This Stable Diffusion-based AI is another interesting option to consider if we are looking for alternatives to DALL-E. From its website we can access the prompts that we can use to generate all kinds of images. You do not need to register on the platform to start using it, however, we do have a limited number of requests before you check out.
- Wombo. If we like the futuristic theme, the AI that we should start using is Wombo, an AI that allows us to generate images based on a large number of templates that will allow us to obtain the best result for what we are looking for. The free version is very limited in terms of options before checking out. If we want to pay and we are convinced by what it offers us, we can hire lifetime access at a single rate.
- crayon. Another interesting option that is very easy to use is found in Crayion, a platform that allows us to choose, first of all, the type of image that we want to generate to help the AI to focus its creation without having to specify it in the description. The free version is somewhat limited, however, it is more than enough to assess whether it is really useful for generating the image we are looking for.
Although all artificial intelligences work in Spanish, if we want to obtain the best results It is recommended to use English, since we avoid that the AI uses any translator to understand the instructions and that, along the way, it loses meaning and shows results that are not consistent with our request. If language is a problem, we can write the prompts in Spanish avoiding words that can be interpreted in different ways. We can also use Google or any other translator to make requests in English.
