80% of the Digital Kit aid has yet to be granted

Small and medium-sized Spanish companies still have at their disposal 2,330 million in aid, from the Digital Kit plan to digitize their businesses. This supposes almost 80% of the total of 3,067 million euros of European funds that are articulated in the program, which consists of three phases and to which all Spanish SMEs can apply, whatever their size.

Of the total number of companies that have applied for subsidies, 12% abandoned the process, among other reasons, due to the complicated bureaucracy when making the request. From the first segment of aid, it is striking that 51.9% of those who started the procedure received some kind of administrative requirement that prevented the continuation of the process, as indicated by the Yotramito platform.

The entry into force of the ‘Crea y Crece’ law, approved just a few weeks ago in the Congress of Deputies, obliges almost 3 million Spanish SMEs to invoice in digital format.

Many of these SMEs and freelancers are unaware of this imposition. Others, despite knowing it, have neither the tools nor the knowledge to automate the process. The Digital Kit is a very interesting opportunity to eliminate these barriers, and having a partner like Yotramito simplifies the process as much as possible.
