As a curiosity we will tell you that back in 1985 the software giant launched Windows 1.01. It supposed a quite important technological revolution from which it has already rained until the Windows 11 release in 2021. Obviously each of the versions of the Microsoft system has brought with it new tools and functions, although it has not always been as successful as expected.
Initially, in the first versions of the system, we found an interface that wanted to focus on simplicity and comfort of use on any computer. Here began the use of the current graphical interfaces to which we are already so accustomed. Then they started to take into account new technologies to make the most of the hardware of the computers of the time. The same thing happened with the software applications that we could install and use in the different Windows.
For example, another important advance was found in version 3.0, which brought with it a more refined user interface, giving great importance to multitasking and performance. And what about the popular Windows 95. Here Microsoft did take a momentous step forward in the world of technology and computing. The Start menu appeared, the taskbar or the desktop icons that we are so familiar with now.
There is no doubt that from then on, Microsoft-owned software began to grow exponentially, becoming part of most desktop computers around the world.

After the versions of Windows 98 and ME that brought some new improvements related to the multimedia sector, one of the most beloved systems in history arrived. Specifically, we refer to Windows XP which was released in the past year 2001. It was a milestone for the operating system. With its sleek, modern interface, enhanced security, and increased network compatibility, Windows XP became one of the most popular and widely used versions of all.
From there, surely many of you are well aware of Windows Vista, which was launched in 2006, to later give way to the popular 7, 8 and 8.1. At this time we can work with Windows 10 and 11 that still receive official support from the firm and that are the latest versions of the operating system. All this while waiting for the arrival of Windows 12 that could see the light of day in a few months.
