There is nothing official … but it seems to be now official the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin / Darth Vader in the TV series of Ashoka coming up on Disney +, thanks to a tweet from the main protagonist Rosario Dawson.
Rosario Dawson confirms Hayden Christensen’s return as Darth Vader on Twitter
The confirmation of the return of the actor, who appeared in the prequel trilogy of the Star Wars saga, in the role of Darth Vader, came indirectly from the Ashoka actress.
On Twitter, the actress commented on the rumor of the actor’s return by writing “They know! See you soon, Crafty “.
The message, signed with the word Sly (the nickname given by Anakin to his ex padawan in the Clone Wars series) was then immediately canceled by Dawson but, as everyone knows, what ends up on the net remains there, and in fact reappeared shortly after on a well-known fansite of the saga:

What we do “officially” know is that Rosario Dawson will return as Ahsoka Tano and, as revealed in The Mandalorian, Ashoka in the series will be chasing the Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are both writing and executive producing the series, with production set to begin in early 2022.
