Almost 70% of digital-native brands plan to open a physical store

The constant changes in the market, as well as in consumer habits, make companies that were born exclusively digital consider new models, including the physical. In this line, Carmila has joined EGI Group to promote physical channels between native-digital companies, through the recently announced contest DNVB Awards by Carmila. Thus, the real estate company has carried out an exhaustive study to have a detailed image of the perceptions and expectations of this sector related to physical retail.

In this way, after carrying out a “focus group” with managers of digital-native companies, a clear the need for these companies to opt for omnichannel and have a greater presence in physical channels. More than 66% of those surveyed admit that their online traffic would be increased if they had some physical format. In addition, nearly 70% plan to open a physical store in the future, being the ephemeral store or pop up the format that most attracts the attention of the respondents.

Taking these results as a guide, Carmila has set out to support companies in their process of adapting to physical channels, using its 79 shopping malls as leverage. With this, the real estate company announces the celebration of the DNVB Awards by Carmila, a contest developed with the collaboration of EGI Group and Club eCommerce, through which it is intended to promote omnichannel in digital companies and accompany the selected projects in their adaptation process .

The winners they will be chosen according to the following criteria: Viability of the business model; development capacity in shopping center; adaptability of the DNVB brand for implementation in a Carmila shopping center; adaptation of the DNVB brand to the expectations of customers of the Carmila shopping centers; marketing and digital strategy and Experience and motivation of the DNVB brand team.

Those companies that wish to can present their projects now. The jury, made up of professionals from Carmila and EGI Group, will carry out an election process made up of different phases, of which they will announce the result in a delivery in the month of november.
