Comes directly from Peyton Reed, director of Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the confirmation that the production of the new film has officially passed in the filming phase in these days.

Filming started for Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The third installment of Ant Man has also finally entered the filming phase, bringing the main actors to the set of the film directed by Peyton Reed.

It was the director himself who announced the start of filming through a post on Twitter, where he showed the creepy bunny given by Scott Lang to his daughter. But that’s not all, because the puppet appears to be positioned in a research laboratory, which is not too strange knowing that Hank Pym he is a scientist.

They will return to the set Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in the role of protagonists, while at their side there will be again Michael Douglas And Michelle Pfeiffer as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. He will join them Jonathan Majors, recently seen in the Loki series, who will play the villain of the film Kang the Conqueror. In addition to them will make his debut Kathryn Newton as Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang.

Some time ago the director had spoken of the third installment of the Ant Man series as the greatest film of the trilogy. The enthusiasm for what was happening was tangible in Reed’s words:

There are some really exciting things in store, but I can’t talk about any of them. As is customary in the Marvel house!

I think the third Ant Man movie is going to be… a much bigger and sprawling movie than the first two. It will have a very different visual model from the previous ones. This is all I can say.

The arrival of Kang the Conqueror will bring one of the most fearsome villains into Phase 4 of the MCU, which will culminate in Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
