ASRock NUCS BOX-1300 with Raptor Lape-P now available

They were announced at CES, and today I can finally confirm that the ASRock NUCS BOX-1300 have started to hit the market. These new mini PCs adopt Intel’s classic NUC format, are configured with Core Gen13 Raptor Lake-P processors and they have a good range of connections.

In its base configuration, the ASRock NUCS BOX-1300 has a processor Intel Core i5-1340P, a chip that adds four high-performance cores and eight high-efficiency cores, which leaves us with a total of 12 cores and 16 threads. In its most powerful configuration it comes with an Intel Core i7-1360P, which maintains the same number of cores and threads but runs at a higher clock frequency.

The first versions are barebones, which means that they do not include RAM or storage. We can mount a maximum of 64 GB of DDR4 memory at 3,200 MHz and a unit PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD. ASRock NUCS BOX-1300 comes with an integrated network card that offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and has the following ports and connectors:

  • 1 x USB 4.
  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (can work as DisplayPort 1.4).
  • 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A.
  • 2 x HDMI 2.0b.
  • 1 x 2.5GbE Ethernet.
  • 1 x 3.5mm jack for sound and microphone.

All configurations use an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU. The Intel Core i5-1340P model has a version with 80 execution units, and the Intel Core i7-1360P model has an iGPU with 96 execution units. Since they do not come with a storage unit, they do not come with a pre-installed operating system. The price of the base configuration is 515.85 euros to change (VAT not included).
