Not long ago, rumors were reported here indicating the possibility of the existence before 2025 of a new model of the Apple Watch Ultra that used MicroLED technology. The dates dance, some analysts say that it could be before 2024 and others that until 2025, nothing at all. The really important thing is that we will have this type of technology in the Apple Watch screens that will also grow. Speaking of screen growth, we have to echo the latest report that says that the company is likely to launch a watch with a larger screen. and whose name could be X-series.

New rumors and reports indicate that Apple could be considering the possibility of launching a new watch model with a larger screen on the market next year. The name is not yet defined, we believe, because both possibilities can be given. That the name is not known yet and that is why they have decided to call it Series X or because next year and on the 10th anniversary of the watch’s launch, it will be named for this reason.

Be that as it may, it must be taken into account that the report published by the specialized company Omdiay signed by David Hsieh indicates that there will be a model somewhere between the Ultra and the S3 that also wants to be launched next year. In other words, we can go from having a Series 9 with a large screen but not so much to a Series x that would be like an Ultra and the Series 8, 9 now, would be pointed towards the Series S.

Report claims Series X will have screen size options 1.89 inches and 2.04 inches, which would be 5% to 10% larger than the Apple Watch Series 8 depending on case size. These measurements apply to the rectangular display panel, but since Apple Watch has rounded bezels, the actual viewable area is less.

As for the third-generation Apple Watch SE, the device is expected to have the same screen sizes as the Apple Watch Series 8. If the new Apple Watch SE adopts the same thinner bezels as the Series 8, this means it would be available. in box sizes 41mm and 45mmcompared to 40mm and 44mm on the current Apple Watch SE.
