Brave Search will allow you to organize the results

Brave Search, the Brave search engine that debuted in public beta just a year ago, continues to grow in functions, and in this case it does so with one that attacks, in a very direct way, one of the most criticized aspects of search engines conventional, organization of results. An organization that, being based on an opaque algorithm, can give rise to a large number of biases that we can detect when analyzing them, but that we cannot quantify due to the opacity of their origin.

The new Brave Search function, which is currently in beta phase but can now be used by all users who wish to do so, allows you to create your own results organization systemas well as using those designed by other users who have decided to share them with the rest of the community.

To use this new function we will only have to perform a search and, when the results are displayed, click on the entry “Goggles” displayed in the top menu. In this way, a new section will be displayed with information about the “glasses” that we can use when reviewing the results of Brave, and that are nothing more than the criteria for organizing the results.

The first thing we will see is the Discover section, in which we are shown a selection of “designs” created and shared by third parties. And if we expand that list by clicking on “Show More”, in addition to seeing more templates for organizing the results, we will also have access to the section for making our own pattern for organizing them. A great step by Brave Search, which I hope many other search engines will also adopt.
