Nvidia has unveiled its brand new graphics card: the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. This is the replacement for the RTX 3080 Ti. It seeks to offer optimal performance at a price below 1000 euros.
Nvidia took advantage of CES in Las Vegas to unveil its brand new graphics card: the RTX 4070 Ti. A product that wants to combine performance and reasonable price, since it is of the first card of the 40XX series to be sold under the 1000 euro mark.
As expected, the RTX 4070 Ti is a version rebranded of the RTX 4080 12 GB, presented at the same time as the RTX 4080 and 4090, but ultimately canceled at the last moment. It returns under another name and looks very interesting.
A GeForce RTX 4070 Ti that wants to appeal to a wide audience
This RTX 4070 Ti comes with the manufacturer’s new Ada Lovelace architecture with an AD 104 GPU engraved in 4 nm. It has 12 GB of GDDR6X memory, 7680 CUDA cores, 40 TFLOPS Shaders and 641 Tensor Flops. Characteristics which, in terms of power, would place it on the same level as the 3090 Ti, according to Nvidia. However, this 4070 Ti promises to consume less.

While the RTX 4080 and 4090 were real monsters (over two kilos on the scale and three slots on your tower), the RTX 4070 Ti adopts a reasonable size. If we still have a massive 1.5 kilo product, this time it is designed for classic ATX cases and only takes up two slots. At the back, we find the classic connectors of the range, namely three DisplayPort ports and an HDMI port. Of course, this 4070 Ti still relies on Nvidia technologies to convince, such as ray-tracing support, but also DLSS 3.0, which drastically increases in-game performance without losing quality. A product clearly intended for those who want to freshen up their config and who are still equipped with “old” cards like those of the 20XX range or even older.
No Founder’s Edition for this product, since it will be necessary to go through a manufacturer model. Gigabyte, Asus, Zotac, PNY or Palit, all are already in the starting blocks. This 4070 Ti will be sold from January 5, 2023 from 899 euros, a good price for what it has to offer. Note that this price may increase depending on the model.
