Diablo IV is Gold… why does Blizzard ignore the community?

Surely you all know what it means when a game reaches Gold status, and that is that technically That version is already the final one that will hit the stores, without further changes or additions. At the time, when the physical format was the dominant one, this date was essential to start up all the machinery of the launch campaign, so Diablo IV We can affirm that it has already entered that phase.

Is being Gold good or bad?

Let’s see, the fact that a game is Gold a month and a half before it hits stores is great news because it guarantees us that, at least as far as stability and completion of the game are concerned, there will be no major bugs, which is a Rare avis in a market where the studies reach the limit to put their developments up for sale in any way. So on that side, congratulations to Blizzard.

Now, is it normal that a game like Diablo IVfocused on multiplayer and that just a month ago was in the open Beta phase, has closed its version of day one so so fast? Perhaps Blizzard has not seen some of the requests that the community has made of it during those two weekends in March that the game was available for testing?

That Blizzard posted that Diablo IV ya es Gold only has two readings: It is not entirely true and they are putting some covert things, below, to improve some things that users have requested -or that the developers themselves have detected-, or if it is and those from Irvine have decided to turn a deaf ear to what the players may have asked for. And such bad news is one thing like the other.

Gold in Diablo IV does not exist

as we tell you, Gold’s status in a game from 25 years ago made perfect sense because those titles arrived at the stores and that’s how they stayed ad eternum. There was not updates online or anything like that, so the developers forgot about those projects and started doing something else.

Devil Immortal.

But in cases like Diablo IV that old definition does not make much sense because it is certain that Blizzard will continue to work on it, in corrective patches, in seasonal additions, rewards, items and other elements that make this franchise last so many years. 11 in the case of Diablo III and practically the same in that of Diablo II. So defining that the game is already Gold is like saying nothing, a toast to the sun that is looking for a headline and appearing in all the media on the planet (including this one, of course).

So let’s applaud that Diablo IV either Gold. Although it is useless and, if it has any meaning, it makes it very clear that those of Irvine They have decided not to pay too much attention to everything that the community has asked of them after beta testing in March.
