Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962, no one expected that a guy whose superpower was shooting webs out of his hands would become one of the most beloved characters on the comics scene, which has led him to star in movies, series and, of course, video games. It is for this reason and to celebrate that soon we will be flooded with character content, that here we bring you the top 5 of the most successful games, in terms of sales.

5.Spider-Man (1994)
For those who grew up in the 90s, this game is pure childhood. Incorporating elements of the comics and the mythical series from the end of the century, this game was a complete revolution almost 30 years ago. With a cast of scandalous characters, it was a complete success, achieving 3.13 million units sold worldwide.
4.Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Adapting what is for many the best superhero movie, this title that, curiously, had the cast of actors from the film to give voice to the characters within the game, allowed us to live again epic moments like the train scene or the battle at the bank against the fearsome Doctor Octopus. It managed to sell 3.41 million units globally.
3. Spider-Man: The Movie (2002)
If the second installment was legendary, the first film directed by Sam Raimi marked a before and after not only in the world of cinema, but also in that of video games since it was one of the first adaptations of the new century. Also, the controls were surprisingly fluid for the time. Worldwide it sold 4.48 million games.
2. Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales
In this installment Peter Parker would pass the baton to his apprentice Miles Morales in a game that kicked off the PS5 itself. With a pretty good story and a gameplay that he knew how to exploit the new protagonist -very different from doing it with Peter-, it was a great success that managed to sell 6 million titles worldwide. 1. Marvel’s Spider-Man
As king of the mountain we have one of the best-selling titles in the history of Sony. Frantic combat, charismatic characters, and one of the best character stories ever told make this game the best, not just from spider-man, but Marvel in general. In addition, he was a beast in sales, achieving an incredible 20 million units worldwide. You have it available for PS4 and PC remastered here.
