Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is likely to be one of the best games of 2023, and fans’ impatience is so great that one of them has already managed to piece together the map of one of the flying islands.
Only a few weeks left before the official release of Nintendo’s next flagship title: Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Before the launch scheduled for May 12, 2023, some Zelda fans dissected the recent insane trailer that Nintendo had unveiled in its last Direct.
Thanks to all the information shown in the video and the various images of the game that had been revealed by Nintendo, Reddit user @Mr_JCBA managed to replenish the map of one of the flying islands, which will be quickly accessible from the start of the game.
The Flying Island Map Reveals First Sanctuaries
After several days of work and many updates, @Mr_JCBA unveiled on Reddit his interpretation of the map of the flying island present in the trailer. You can see all the areas crossed by Eiji Aonuma, the producer of the Zelda series, in the video presentation.
Various screenshots clearly show the presence of at least four sanctuaries in this area, as well as a large plain in which we could see Link confronting a giant Golem. These are therefore probably the first “dungeons” that players will have to face in Tears of the Kingdom. It is possible that each of them gives us access to one of the skills present in the trailer: retrospective, amalgamation, influence and infiltration.
As a reminder, the first acts on time, and in particular allows you to go back to reach these famous celestial islands. Amalgam, on the other hand, allows you to merge two objects to create a new one, while influence allows you to combine them with a kind of glue to, for example, create vehicles. Finally, thanks to infiltration, Link will be able to quickly climb structures by crossing them.
Obviously, this is abouta very small part of the full game mapand it will now remain to be seen what use these celestial islands have, and the game will also have to reveal to us how they got there.
