First real image of the Radeon RX 7600, it will have 8 GB of graphics memory

The Radeon RX 7600 already has arrived in stores, and it is not a rumor, it is information that is fully confirmed as you can see in the attached image. This fits perfectly with what we have been seeing in recent weeks, and leaves us waiting for an official announcement from AMD that, without a doubt, should be imminent.

Thanks to the size of the image, and how sharp it is even when zoomed in, we can confirm that it uses the Navi 33 GPU, which It has 32 computing units and 32 MB of infinite cache.. These two data are already enough for me to give you the complete list of specifications of the Radeon RX 7600.

For this I only have to start from the bases that AMD has adopted with the RDNA3 architecture, in which each compute unit adds 64 shaders, four texturing units, two cores for AI, and a second-generation core for ray tracing acceleration. Being a mid-range model, its memory bus should be 128 bits.

Final Radeon RX 7600 Specs

  • Navi 33 GPU with 32 CUs.
  • 2,048 shaders at 2.6 GHz.
  • 128 texturing units.
  • 64 raster units.
  • 32 second generation ray tracing acceleration cores.
  • 64 cores for AI.
  • 128-bit bus.
  • 8 GB of 18 GHz GDDR6 memory.
  • 32MB L3 cache.

The Radeon RX 7600 has only 32MB of infinite cache, so your GPU should have a monolithic core design with all L3 cache integrated on a single silicon chip. Therefore, we will not see the modular design that AMD has used in the Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX to externalize the infinite cache.

When it comes to raw power, this graphics card will have a peak of 21.42 TFLOPs in FP32 thanks to the double emission capacity of its shaders, which can work with two instructions simultaneously. We can also see in the list of specifications of the box that the AMD Radeon Display Engine will maintain.

It is rumored that the presentation of the Radeon RX 7600 will take place at the end of may, and that its price will be around 249-299 dollars, but none of this has, for the moment, official confirmation. In terms of performance I think we can expect it to position more or less at the level of a Radeon RX 6700 or, in the best of cases, that is close to a Radeon RX 6700 XT. If everything I have just told you is confirmed, it could reach Spanish stores with a price at the exchange of 299-349 euros, taxes included.
