Rumors around the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 continue to flood the web. While their official presentation is not expected before next summer, the reputable leaker Ice Universe has just published new information on the two devices, in particular concerning the capacity of their batteries. If we trust his statements, there is good news on the side of the Z Flip 4.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 are not yet official, and yet information about them is raining on the web, in particular thanks to the indiscretions shared by the main insiders in the field, such as Ice Universe. While waiting for the official presentation of the two foldable smartphones set for the summer of 2022, the reputable leaker has just released some new information about Samsung’s future devices.
The revelation of the day concerns the capacity of the batteries of the two smartphones. According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be equipped with a battery with a total capacity of 4400 mAh. In fact, no change to report compared to the previous generation. However, this is not the case for the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

400 mAh more on the battery of the Galaxy Z Flip 4
In effect, the tipster claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will benefit from a 3700 mAh battery. The first three models were all equipped with a 3300 mAh battery, which had earned them a rather limited autonomy. With a capacity increase of 400 mAh, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 would therefore be able to make up for the pitfalls made to previous devices regarding autonomy. Note also that Ice Universe specifies that it is 100% certain of these figures.
In the absence of official confirmation, it will still be necessary to take this information with a grain of salt, even if the reputation of Ice Universe is well established. As for fast charging, the Z Flip 4 would also benefit from a minor improvementwith power increased to 25W instead of 15W for the Z Flip 3.
As a reminder, Ice Universe also revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 will be as powerful as the S22. Both devices will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC. We should notably find this new generation processor on the OnePlus 10 Ultra.
