On January 1, 2023, the OCS channel is no longer the exclusive broadcaster in France of HBO content. Indeed, the historic agreement between the Orange subsidiary and the Warner Discovery group came to an end this Sunday. As a result, more than 60 HBO series have left the OCS catalog for good. We take stock together.
As you may know, we have been talking about the uncertain future of OCS for several months. In February 2022, Orange chose to put its shares in the streaming service up for sale. The cause ? The end of the contract between OCS and Warner Bros on January 1, 2023.
As a reminder, this partnership signed in 2008 made OCS the exclusive distributor of HBO content in France. But with the upcoming arrival of HBO Max in France, Warner has decided not to renew this union, to the chagrin of OCS and Orange, its current owner.

More than 60 HBO series are leaving OCS, here is the complete list
Result, since this Sunday, January 1, 2023, more than 60 HBO series have left the OCS catalog for good. We obviously find in this list of the flagship shows of the American channel such as Game Of Thronesthe detective anthology series True Detectivethe cult The Sopranos, Band of Brothers or True Blood and the award-winning series Euphoria with Zendaya.
But without further ado, here is the complete list of HBO series that have left OCS since January 1, 2023:

To sum up the situation, all HBO series released more than two years ago have therefore disappeared from the OCS catalog. In other words, subscribers will still be able to find the first two seasons of White Lotus and Betty, as well as the respective first seasons of House of The Dragon and Perry Mason.
As a reminder, the future of the HBO series The Last of Us in France is still unclear. If it is therefore certain that the show will not be accessible on OCS, rumors suggest that the series could land on Amazon Prime Video. But again, nothing official yet. Worrying, when we know that the series must land on HBO Max from January 15, 2023.
