Blizzard confirms Diablo IV requirements in its final version

Diablo IV requirements they are very affordable although the truth is completely normal because in the end we are facing a generational transition game that has been developed on the basis of Xbox One and PS4, and therefore cannot be too demanding in this regard. However, those requirements that we saw were not final and could give subject to change after the beta.

After an arduous process of data collection and analysis of the information obtained after the public beta, Blizzard has confirmed the final requirements for Diablo IV and has shared new listings which also include the recommended requirements to play with high quality and also to play in 4K with maximum quality and stable rates of 60 FPS. We are going to see them and analyze them to find possible equivalence errors.

Diablo IV Minimum Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
  • Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX 8100 (quad core) processor.
  • 8 GB of RAM.
  • GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon R9 280 graphics card. They maintain the equivalence error, the closest thing to the GTX 660 is a Radeon R7 265.
  • DirectX 12.
  • SSD with 90 GB of free space.
  • Broadband Internet connection.

This will be the minimum to play Diablo IV with resolution 1080p, low quality and 30 FPS.

Diablo IV Recommended Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
  • Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (quad-core) processor.
  • 16 GB of RAM.
  • GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 470 graphics card. We have another equivalence error, the closest thing to a GTX 970 is a Radeon RX 570.
  • DirectX 12.
  • SSD with 90 GB of free space.
  • Broadband Internet connection.

With this configuration it will be possible to play in 1080p with medium quality and 60 FPS.

Diablo IV requirements

Diablo IV “High Performance” Recommended Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
  • Intel Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X processor (six cores and twelve threads). The equivalence is wrong, because the Ryzen 7 2700X has eight cores and sixteen threads. The closest thing to the Intel Core i7-8700K is a Ryzen 5 3600X.
  • 16 GB of RAM.
  • GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. We have another equivalence error, the closest thing to the GeForce RTX 2060 is a Radeon RX 5700.
  • DirectX 12.
  • SSD with 90 GB of free space.
  • Broadband Internet connection.

If we meet these specifications we can play in 1080p with high quality and 60 FPS. I can confirm that it will even be possible to play in 1440p without problems.

Diablo IV recommended requirements for 4K on ultra

  • Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system.
  • Intel Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X processor (six cores and twelve threads). The equivalence is wrong, because the Ryzen 7 2700X has eight cores and sixteen threads. The closest thing to the Intel Core i7-8700K is a Ryzen 5 3600X.
  • 32 GB of RAM. There’s no point asking for more RAM, so it will do just fine with 16GB.
  • GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 40, or Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card.
  • DirectX 12.
  • SSD with 90 GB of free space.
  • Broadband Internet connection.

With this hardware we will be able to play it in 4K with maximum quality and 60 FPS. The GeForce RTX 40 will be able to activate DLSS Super Resolution and frame generation.

The launch of Diablo IV will take place on June 6th. If you are thinking of taking advantage of its launch to build a new PC, or to update yours, and you need help, don’t miss this guide that we published last March.
