The company specialized in technology for different industry verticals Grupo Álava has celebrated its 50th anniversary by organizing the Overfly Forum event, which has just closed its doors after bringing together nearly a thousand visitors. Focused on the digital and technological transformation, it has also served as a framework for clients and partners of the group to exhibit and present their products and innovations, and exhibit the projects in which they are participating.
Overfly Forum has had the presence of relevant corporations in different industrial sectors, which have exhibited their innovations and technologies in an area with four Tech Corners: Smart Industry, Smart Energy, Smart Cities and Innovation Corner.
In the first were the exhibitors with technology related to the digitization of the industry, especially automation, quality improvement and business efficiency or product traceability. In the second, the companies dedicated to renewable energies and electromobility have concentrated, to show everything related to their digitization. One of the most relevant areas of this corner has been dedicated to prediction.
As for the technology exhibition area for smart cities, it has served as a meeting point for companies and partners that deal with digitizing the infrastructure of cities, but also with the intelligent management of utilities, security and communications. Lastly, the innovation area has been dedicated to showcasing new tools and technologies that will advance science, innovation and materials. Among them, Artificial Intelligence or nanotechnology.
In parallel, the Overfly Forum has held a series of conferences focused on innovation in key sectors of the industry. Those attending them have been able to listen to experts such as Enric Asunción, CEO of Wallbox, Katia Paredes, Global Product Manager Industry 4.0 of Telefónica Tech, or Raúl Galán, CTO of MonoM.
The event also held a meeting between those attending the Overfly Forum, the managers of Grupo Álava, its partners and its clients. With Jorge Blas as master of ceremonies, the Vice Chairman of Grupo Álava, José Fernández-Díezhas reviewed the history of the group, in addition to giving the keys to the future of the company, which include continuing to facilitate the transformation and technological advances of its customers and partners.
