ASUS has presented two new models of laptops aimed at professional users. are the teams ExpertBook B12 and B12 Flip, with up to 12th generation Intel Core i7 CPU and clamshell form factor (ExpertBook B12) or convertible with a 360º precision hinge that allows it to be used in multiple positions (ExpertBook B12 Flip). They can have a choice of 14 or 15.6-inch FHD Value IPS display with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
They offer a wide range of choice for RAM, for which they have two slots, and which can go up to 64 MB. As for their storage, they are available with a 1 or 2 TB capacity HDD, or with an SSD unit of up to 2 TB. Your graphics card is a standalone Intel Iris X.
Both computers incorporate various input and output ports, including one Thunderbolt 4, which supports a data transfer speed of up to 40 Gbps. On the other hand, it offers four USB Type S ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A and one USB 2.0. They also have an HDMI 1.4b output with which you can connect an external screen with image quality up to 4K, and a combined 3.5mm audio jack.
WiFi 6 or enhanced WiFi 6E are supported with Asus WiFi Master, as well as optionally 5G. Optionally, they can be purchased with IR HD webcam for facial recognition login, fingerprint sensor, smart card reader, backlit keyboard with ASUS SensePoint pointer, independent TPM 2.0 security chip and, in the case of convertible models ,Asus Pen 2.0.
As for its security, in addition to the aforementioned chip, these devices have a cover for the webcam and a Kensington lock slot. All models meet the latest MIL-STD 810H military safety standard. Due to its design and manufacture, its operation in extreme temperature conditions is guaranteed, in addition to being protected against shocks and impacts at high speed.
They are equipped with Artificial Intelligence noise cancellation technology and ClearVoice Mic function in the MyASUS application. The latter is responsible for filtering ambient noise and, when in Multi-presenter mode, for normalizing the voices of all participants in the call to optimize their quality. It also has the ClearVoice Speaker function, which filters ambient noise so that users can clearly hear what the rest of the participants are saying in a communication that includes audio.
