How to automatically optimize a Samsung Galaxy

Samsung is, with Apple’s permission, the world’s leading mobile seller. It has a catalog to cover all market ranges and its own interface that includes a large number of applications, perhaps too many, but among which you can find some interesting utilities.

The latest version of this interface is One UI 5 and it has added a function of automatic optimization of Galaxy mobiles, which verifies the correct operation of the terminals and optimizes them to improve performance and eliminate errors.

This function makes various adjustments such as the Closing apps in the background, cleaning memory and deleting temporary cache that could be causing problems. Enabling this feature grants permission to automatically perform a reboot. This restart occurs when the mobile is not in use and of course does not affect the personal files of the users or the data within the applications.

Its activation is very simple and is done as follows:

  • Access the general settings.

  • Click on Maintenance and battery.

  • Click on Automatic optimization and activate the slider for “Restart when necessary”.

In this same group of maintenance, Samsung has added two other functions that may be of interest to you and that are handled with the same ease.

  • device protectionwith additional protection against viruses and spyware.
  • Maintenance modeto protect data privacy while the phone is being used by a third party, such as when the terminal is sent for repair.
