Microsoft has just implemented a new referral program on the Xbox Game Pass. Thanks to him, it is possible to take advantage of 14 days of trial in the service of the Redmond firm. We explain the procedure to you.
If you missed the $1 Xbox Game Pass promotional offer, Microsoft has a new compensation for you. Indeed, the Redmond firm has just launched in France an unprecedented sponsorship program for the Xbox Game Pass.
Thanks to it, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can offer 14 days of free PC Game Pass trial to up to five of their friends. In fact, if you want to take advantage of it, it will suffice to have a friend already subscribed to one of the two formulas mentioned above.
How to Take Advantage of the Xbox Game Pass Referral Program
But how does it work? Here’s how to get 5 of your friends to benefit from the Game Pass referral program:
- First of all, log in with the same account than the one used for your PC Game Pass or Ultimate subscription on the site xbox.com to see if you are eligible for the program
- If so, invite up to five friends. To do this, it will be necessary to copy the code/link of the test available before emailing it to your friends. Note that these free trials can only be used by new members.
- Your friends will then have 30 days to trigger their 14-day free trial. If this period expires, the unused trial can be shared again after 30 days. Note that it is possible to check the status of Shared Trials by logging into xbox.com/sharepcgamepass
Microsoft specifies that these trials are reset on January 1 of each year. Another important point, this trial period includes all the benefits and services of the PC Game Pass.
In other words, you will be able to access new Xbox Game Studios titles as soon as they are released, such as RedFall, the next Forza Motorsport or Starfield. The EA Play subscription is also included, as are the main PC and mobile games from Riot Games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics or Legends of Runterra.
